Tennessee has one of the highest rates of food insecurity in the nation. In Chattanooga, more than 144,000 people don’t have regular access to affordable, nutritious food. Better Tennessee spoke to Gina Crumbliss of the Chattanooga Area Food Bank about who is going hungry and how her organization helps.
The goal of the Chattanooga Down Syndrome Society is to provide resources, education, advocacy, community support and help to members by celebrating every opportunity to bring awareness to community and support inclusion to children and adults.
